April Robertson Chief Financial Officer

April Robertson is NDA’s Chief Financial Officer. She has been with the organization since 2017. Prior to joining NDA she worked in public accounting for Pricewaterhouse Coopers and held the position of Business and Accounting Manager with Clarke Community Federal Credit Union. She was also Financial Director for Athens Community Council on Aging for several years. Her most recent role prior to NDA was as Assistant Controller for Gwinnett Daily Post and McCann Aerospace but jumped at the opportunity to continue her more than 20 years of experience working for non-profit organizations. She earned a bachelor’s with a minor in Marketing from the University of Georgia and a master’s from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant. 

April describes herself as a “military brat” born in Germany and eventually living in several states across the U.S. She currently resides in Jefferson, Georgia with her husband and two children. She currently spends much of her free time sitting on the sidelines of an athletic field watching her daughter play soccer and her son who plays football and basketball. Her favorite thing to do is sit on the beach with a good book.
