
Nathan Cowley Arkansas DMAP Biologist
Nathan Cowley is NDA’s North Central Arkansas DMAP Biologist. Nathan joined the organization in June of 2025. Historically, Nathan spent time working for the North Carolina State Parks System working as a Park Technician. Nathan then went on to receive his degree in Wildlife, Fisheries, & Aquaculture Sciences at Mississippi State University. While attending MSU, Nathan worked for the MSU Deer Ecology & Management Lab where he was involved in many different research projects that included items such as prescribed fire, food plot management, deer movement via collar studies, CWD transmission, etc.
Nathan currently resides in Baxter County Arkansas with his wife. In his free time, he is an avid hunter, fishermen, and loves spending time outdoors.
