Ways to Give Make a tax-deductible donation

Thank you for your interest in supporting the National Deer Association. Any gift makes an impact, however large or small. There are a variety of ways to tailor your giving and we hope you find one that is the perfect fit for you.

NDA Fund

The NDA Fund is our annual giving program and is the foundation of giving to our organization. The NDA Fund comprises unrestricted giving from all sources that support all aspects of deer conservation. Without a vibrant Annual Fund, we would not be able to reach our goals in the areas of Policy & Advocacy, Herd Health, Education & Outreach, and R3 (Recruit, Retain, Reactivate). A gift at any level to the NDA Fund will ensure we can reach the lofty goals we’ve set for ourselves. You can contribute to our NDA Fund quickly and securely online using any major credit card using the link above.

Donate While You Shop on Amazon

The Amazon Smile program allows you to donate 0.5% of all your purchases on smile.amazon.com to charity. NDA is now registered with Amazon Smile. Any gifts made through this site go directly to benefit The NDA Fund. You can sign-up here: https://smile.amazon.com/.

IRA Gifts

If you meet the age requirement per Federal Tax Laws (70 ½), you may be able to make a tax-free charitable gift to the National Deer Association right from your IRA of up to $100,000. As a charitable donation to a nonprofit, the withdrawals are not considered taxable income. This giving incentive is of particular value to individuals who do not claim itemized deductions on their tax return; the funds are sent directly to nonprofits from IRA accounts. Before proceeding, you should consult with your tax advisor or financial planner to discuss your particular situation and any impact of your state tax laws.

Gifts of Security

National Deer Association welcomes gifts of stock. Many donors prefer to make gifts of appreciated stocks to support our mission.  Your gift will entitle you to an income tax deduction and you may also avoid capital gains taxes.

Tribute Gifts

A gift in honor or memory of someone is a wonderful way to remember or honor a loved one while supporting the mission of NDA. A tribute gift may be made to the NDA Fund where you designate who the gift is in memory/honor of using the “tribute gift” box on the donate form.

Real Estate Gifts

Gifts of land and real estate is a great way to help promote deer quality for the posterity of our hunting heritage. Every donation of commercial or residential real estate provides additional value to white-tailed deer. A deer camp, vacation home, family farm or commercial tract donation can meet both your present and future financial situation. You may receive substantial tax benefits and help facilitate your estate planning.

Company Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match your charitable contributions to our organization. Matching gifts allow you to double and in some cases triple your gift. Ask your HR department today!
